This manuscript contains notes, word problems, and arithmetic calculations for numerous mathematical exercises. Topics of study include single and double fractions, vulgar fractions, decimals, square and cubed roots, and mensuration. The latter notes techniques for measuring and calculating surface area and volume, with examples taken from such trades as glazing, painting, joining, sawing, bricklaying, carpentry work, slating, surveying, and digging. Several illustrations of mythical figures appear in multi-colored ink.

Godfrey Miller was a math student in 1800. From the description of Exercise book, 1800. (Winterthur Library). WorldCat record id: 122503813 G. C.
